Zymox Cream  contains enzymes that are believed to assist the immune system in fighting bacteria and fungi that cause infections. These include lysozyme, lactoperoxidase and glucose oxidase. It also  help relieve itching and discomfort and aloe vera to ease skin irritation. It contains lactoferrin as well, which provides dogs and cats with healthy bacteria to help keep harmful bacteria in check.

Zymox Cream comes in a form that is easily applied to a dog or cat’s skin. Pet owners should clean the area before applying the cream directly on their pet’s skin. Zymox can be used twice a day for up to two weeks or as directed by a veterinarian.
